Sequel to the 8th September launching of the national orientation campaign programme tagged 'Change begins with me' the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has taken a swipe at the governing All Progressive Congress (APC). They identified eleven areas where President Muhammadu Buhari and the APC should change. According to them, the problem with Nigeria isn't Nigerians but President Buhari.
The PDP aired their opinion via their social media platform referred to as, South south PDP Lagos. Below is the full text of their statement recently'
'It good to read that clueless President Buhari have launched a platform – change begins with me.
Nigerians are known as hard working and honest people, agreed there are few bad and corrupt Nigerians just like people in any Country.
Nigerians are not the problems of this Country, Buhari is the problem of this Country hence the change must begin with Buhari.
Buhari must change his perception that Nigerians are bad and corrupt people that it is only himself and his family that are good and are not corrupt.
Buhari must change by obeying the decisions of courts by not choosing which decision of our court that he obey or disobey.
Buhari must change by respecting the separation of powers between the executive, the legislature, and the Judiciary in our constitution
Buhari must changing by non interference in our institutions :INEC, DSS, EFCC and the police.
Buhari must change from a Northern President to the President of Nigeria.
Buhari must change from a President of excuses and blame games to a President that accept responsibility.
Buhari must change from a President that wants to destroy opposition to a President that wants vibrant opposition knowing fullly well that there cannot be democracy without vibrant opposition.
Buhari must change from a President who sees members of his Party as saints while members of the opposition are thieves and corrupt people.
Buhari must change by admitting to Nigerians that he was not ready to lead Nigeria hence the recession.
Buhari must change by been humble to seek advice from GEJ instead demonizing him and the PDP.
Buhari must change by working assiduously to impact positively on the lives of Nigerians instead the impacting more hardship on them'.
