On the 10th of September, two days after President Muhammadu Buhari launched the national orientation programme campaign code-named, 'Change begins with me', the Director General of Cross River State Primary Health Care Development Agency, Dr Betta Edu wrote the underlying on her Facebook wall above a Punch Newspaper headline — 'FG spends N5bn on presidential fleet in 15 months'.

'The change begins with me… hmmmmmm'. The governor's community healthcare aide may have been indirectly expressing her reservations against the national orientation programme campaign. She may have been saying something like: 'change begins with the citizenry not with leadership'.

'The change begins with me…. hmmmmmm'. So much in a seemingly harmless statement. But, Dr Edu is not alone in this typical reservation.
