The defending Champions Leicester whom has been on form recently both home and abroad recovering from a sloppy start to the season, entertained Chelsea at the King Power Stadium on Tuesday night and were almost stealing the whole show for the night.
Leicester opening goal did arrive in the 17th minute, through Okazaki. And the Japanese forward made it 2-0 on 34 minutes after Andy King's clever clipped through-ball.
The Blues responded well before the stroke of half tine with the final act of the opening 45 min as Cahill headed in Fabregas' corner to make it 2-1.
A lively game continued to entertain after the interval, but the home fans were silenced on 50 minutes when Azpilicueta picked out the roof of the net with his superb volley.
It was Cesc Fabregas who stole the show for the night, as his double at extra time(92, & 94min) sends Chelsea through the last 16. Leicester were down to ten men with the sending off of Wasilewski's due to a clumsy challenge on Diego Costa and was shown a second yellow.
Chelsea travels to Emirates Stadium on Saturday, while Leicester City to Old Trafford in the League. Something that has given Conte plenty to think about after an impressive display from Cesc Fabregas and Chalobah.
In Conte's media conference after the match he says all the players in the squad have the possibility to play v Arsenal and must convince him in training in the next 3 days.
Conte says he is also pleased to have been able to give Nathaniel Chalobah his debut.
Conte explains he has not played Fabregas from the start in league games because he saw other players giving a balance.
