It's with no atom of doubt Chelsea and Antonio Conte is desperate to get a good defender in other to avoid the feat that befell them last season repeat itself, as the defence line seems short of pace, anticipation, and precision.
Antonio Conte has though expressed his frustration of the transfer market which he described as "crazy transfer market". He has expressed his frustration due to lingering and failed pursuit Napoli Senegalese defender Kalidou Kalibouly. Napoli has placed a staggering price tag of £60m on Kalidou, and Chelsea has failed on two attempts on two bids trying to sign him.
Looking for alternatives, it is reported by the 'SUN', that Chelsea is believed to be preparing a £25m bid for Juventus Giorgio Chiellini.
