Yesterday, Wednesday 17th August the Special Assistant to the Governor of Cross River State on Student Affairs and Youth Mobilization, Prince Michael Nku Abuo, JP met with aspirants (both Senate and EXCO) and the electoral committee of the National Association of Cross River State Students Worldwide (NACRISS WW) towards their forthcoming elections slated for this Saturday, 20th August at 10am in Calabar.
He assured the apex student body of the state government's support for students in the state and promised them logistic and security support towards their forthcoming elections slated for this week Saturday.
Furthermore, the electoral committee members were congratulated for their efforts towards ensuring peace amongst aspirants and for living up to their responsibilities.
In conclusion the S.A assured the aspirants that everyone will be carried along in the new administration and adviced them to study hard even while engaging in student politics. The meeting came to an end after introduction, observation, manifesto presentation by the various aspirants, refreshment and a photo session.
Present at the meeting was the Transiting President-Mr Ukeh Marshal, Solad, George Ajangson, the Legal Adviser, Barr Clement Ijom, electoral committee members and various Chapter representatives of the Association.
