The above picture is no stranger in the Nigerian movie Industry needless to say is he a stranger to Nollywood fans.
The Akwa Ibom state born actor, Ime Bishop Umoh who is popularly referred to as 'Okon Lagos' is no doubt one of the funniest Nigerian artiste whose roles in movies have left his viewers glued to their seats usually with an outburst of laughter, one that lingers so much so as if to laugh out ones heart.
According to a reliable source, this Nigerian artiste has been conferred the post of a special Assistant to the Governor of Akwa Ibom state, in person of his Excellency Mr Emmanuel Edom.
According to information from the former's Instagram page, which is quoted as saying:
"Yes it's true… been made Special Assistant To The Governor On Ethical and Social Reorientation, Akwa Ibom State. Thank you Gov Udom Emmanuel. Most above all, Thank you Jesus!"
We felicitate with the Actor and all Nollywood family. This feat is to my mind 'a group achievement' for all and sundry in the Nigerian movie industry, going by the complementary interconnected relational phrase which avers that "The success of one is the success of all".
You would recall that the Nigerian movie industry had faced such situations that is likened as high waters as it regards the incessant loss of great male and female artistes to the claws of Death.
At least this time, the Nigerian movie industry will celebrate rather than mourn. To God be the glory.
