Sometimes we cannot stop to wonder what in the world is wrong with most Homo Sapiens of Nigerians. The rate at which they keep giving this country a bad name is alarming.
Earlier today we gathered and published how a young man allegedly set his wife ablaze over some flimsy misunderstandings.
Another incident has been brought forward to our News desk about a Delta born Nigerian who murdered his fellow Deltan Nigerian brother over a common Toothbrush.
The question that must be asked is.. Was this dude possessed?
Our source has this that the 26-year-old Nigerian who goes by the name Marvellous, has been apprehended by the police for allegedly stabbing his fellow Nigerian brother to death during a fracas over a missing toothbrush at the Beach Drive road at Nungua in Accra, Ghana.
Our source argues that the suspect Mr Marvelous Okere-Son, engaged the deceased Sunday Orga, aged 27 in a duel (fight) over his stolen tooth brush last Saturday, April 30, 2016.
Speaking to Starr News, the Greater Accra Regional Police spokesperson Afia Tenge, said in the course of the confrontation Okere took a bottle, broke it and stabbed the left rib of the deceased.
According to LIB which corroborated the story, the duo of the suspect and deceased were from Delta State, Nigeria and they arrived in Ghana only two weeks and were squatting with five other Nigerians.
Reports had it that the deceased slapped the suspect who got infuriated with anger and then dashed an empty wine bottle he saw around him and used the sharp edge to stab the deceased on the head and at his back.
All efforts to revive the victim and then save his life proved abortive as Doctors later reported that he had lost so much blood and was brought in unconscious as a result.
According to eye witness report, the victim "…bled profusely and when he was rushed to the LEKMA Hospital he passed on," .
Upon interrogation by the Ghanaian Police agents, the suspect said he stabbed his colleague because he first slapped him.
As at press time, the case has since been charged to court and the assailant is presently cooling his heels at the police station.
The remains of the deceased has however, been deposited at the Police Hospital morgue awaiting further post mortem and further investigations.
