You will remember her name.. Ese Oruru, that 14-year-old teenager whose story took the front burner and made headlines in most Nigerian Tabloids.
Her story was pathetic !
To take a brief recap, She was abducted by a man named Yunusa Dahiru from Bayelsa State and taken to Kano where she was sexually abused which later resulted into her being pregnant.
Psychological and emotionally affected, she needed succour, counsel and support and hence got the same from the her family and the Government of the state.
Today, she gave birth to a baby girl at the Government House Clinic, Yenagoa.
