'We call on the new Minster for Niger Delta Pastor Usani Usani to complete the abandoned Niger Delta Skill Acquisition Centre at Bakassi/Akpabuyo (this project had already been appropriated for in the 2009 budget).'

April 2016.
Richard Duke is evidently the mouth piece of the Bakassi/Akpabuyo people. The above statement attributed to him appears on his social media account, namely, Facebook.
The Bakassi and Akpabuyo LGA people of southern Cross River State are asking the Honourable Minister of Niger Delta Affairs to look into the abandoned project of his ministry which had already been appropriated for in the 2009 Budget.
Considering the fact that this present administration of President Muhammadu Buhari has launched a crusade against corruption, the bane of Nigeria's development at all fronts, the affected people are asking the Honourable Minister to inquire why, how and who is responsible for a project that was appropriated for to still remain uncompleted six years after.
For the record, Acute Options Limited located at 604 Metro Plaza, Central Business District, Abuja is the contractor to which the execution of this project was contracted. Cross Riverians will appreciate a press release in this regard.
