'Inconclusive again? Is this the same INEC that had ability to conduct credible elections for the past 5 years or is there a different INEC?

It is very important for the health of our democracy that INEC should continue to stand for INDEPENDENT not INCONCLUSIVE elections!'

Ben Murray-Bruce
Senator
Federal Republic of Nigeria
21 March 2016.

Senator Ben Murray-Bruce, the self styled 'common sense senator' made this reaction when Nigeria's Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) declared some results in the just concluded Rivers State Rerun Election of Saturday 19 March inconclusive.

While about 7 or so rerun results have been announced and the candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is leading those of the All Progressives Congress-APC in most of the elections results, it's alleged that this election which have been marred by unprecedented violence is finding electoral umpire taking sides with the ruling APC. Whether this allegations is true will be proved when subsequent results are announced.
