I have always told myself that it doesn't matter how long I live on Earth. But what matters is the impact I make on my generation. We must always seek the truth at all times. Life is all about making positive impact. Life is all about leaving a legacy.
In life, you must be a change agent. You have the responsibility of making your society great again. Life is all about using your God giving talent, resources, towards the liberation of the down trodden. Life should not be all about yourself all the time. Life should always be about your society, your generation and what you can give to your society.
Martin Luther King Jr., had a dream. His dream was to see the Black race free in America. His desire was to see a nation where the worth of a man was not Judged by color of his skin. He wanted a society where Blacks could buy in the same market with their White colleagues. He wanted a society where man's right would not be tempered. That was what he stood for. His desire gave rise to a Black man becoming the President of America. Martin Luther King Jr. gave rise to the seed we have today as Barack Obama as President of America.
In life, you must stand for something, you must speak for the weak, the poor, the oppressed. The aged and the downcast in the society.
As humans, we do not have to be in government before we can make meaningful contribution towards the growth and development of our generation. At every given time, the pain of our People should be our pain. The cry of the weak and the lowly heard should be our cry.
Mankind and humanity must understand that lack of education is the root cause of Nigeria's problem. Lack of education propagates poverty. It gives rise to unemployment, crime rate and very few job opportunities. Leaders and well meaning Nigerians must rise up to the call to civil liberty that poverty is a curse. Poverty promotes corruption, it gives birth to insecurity, hunger, cultism, prostitution and all forms of social vices. Leaders and the general populace must speak with one voice. The leaders of Nigeria must as a matter of urgency win poverty through education. Every Nigerian deserves the right to education. Lack of sound education is the major problem Nigeria is experiencing today. And we must rise up against lack of education in Nigeria. If Nigeria must liberate herself from poverty and stagnation.
We have the power and resources to get rid of poverty to its barest minimum. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., said "There is nothing new about poverty. What is new, however, is that we have the resources to get rid of it."
Nigeria is blessed. We have the resources to get rid of poverty, all we need is leaders who have the fear of God. Men and women of conscience who will speak from their hearts and not monsters who have come to steal and loot from our common purse.
As a People, we must work towards the emancipation of our People. Nigerians, are suffering, the masses are experiencing tough times. Mankind must not keep a blind eye that all is well. All is not well. Nigerians deserve good health – care, good housing, clean water, jobs for all, irrespective of academic qualification, good road network, food, and security.
Humanity must not be obstinate about the sufferings of the poor and weak. The oppressed, the destitute in the society. Truth should always prevail over evil. Morality should always outshine immorality. Decency should always overshadow indecency, if we must make a difference in our society.
Mankind, has the responsibility of going to equity with clean hands if we truly desire equity. Humanity must begin to do the right thing at all times.
William Cullen Bryant, said, "Truth crushed to Earth shall rise again".
This great country needs the truth. We need men of impeccable character who have the interest of our People at heart. Life is all about making a difference and not creating and causing pain for fellow man.
Mankind must treat fellow man with the fear and love of God. And not with contempt, hate and lack of love for one another.
If we must grow, for Nigeria to move forward, we must begin to have the interest of our fellow men at heart and not trying to bring pain on other members of the public.
