Actually, this year's 14 February falling on a Sunday is not going down well with some many 'lovers'. Sunday for them is not just the perfect day for an event as this.
But, the present author is surprised that Valentine on a Sunday is being frowned at seeing that Christianity professes 'love' as its greatest message. It's suspicious that a Sunday Valentine isn't going down well with many especially Christians.
Maybe, the basic theme of love that historically inspired 14 February's celebration has been adulterated.
