Having promised a better life for the people of Ekiti state during his manifesto,the incumbent governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose in fulfiling that promise decided to go public on a motorcycle, popularly known as Okada, so as to inspect the water project he had recently commissioned somewhere around Aramoko Ekiti located in Ekiti West LGA of the State.
Negroidhaven gathered that the Governor was seen today on bike as he inspected some of the water fetching points in the community.
It is said that the basic needs of man are Food, Water and Shelter. Deny him these and posterity will never forgive you! But make these available and he would worship you and forever be grateful.
This was to my mind what Fayose's administration had in mind as they laboured to ensure that good and portable water supply is available for citizens after they have been in the lack of these amenities for over 8 years now.
This is a kind gesture which is worthy of double honour as we give kudos to the Governor for a good work while we encourage him not to rest on his oars but to ensure that more is done to better the people of Ekiti state through provision of Electricity and good roads just to mention but a few.
