My voice is in my pen. Therefore, I wish to thunder it here as I have always done in time past. It's absolutely disheartening to be found in a state where everyone is expected to be a chorister to sing that same old song that quenches the spirit of progressiveness. What the choirmasters wants from the choristers is to solo the same chorus irrespective of the pitch of our voices. Whether you sing tenor; bass, soprano or alto, you should as a matter of sycophantic pseudo-patriotism and hypocritical loyalty lyric in the same pitch and frequency.

The period of echoing the same song has come and gone. This is an era of political flux which is sharpened by ideological systole and diastole if you wouldn't mind me as I had borrowed these medical words already. The time of referring to Cross River State as one family has come and gone. Dead and forgotten. It has been given a befitting funeral when progressive agents refused to have their backs bent which subsequently prevented our common enemy – the selfish elements in the corridor of power to ride on them (us).
Sincerely speaking, one can't say that this government is found wanting in all its action and inactions. But the hype strolling around which is yet to catch a hare in the burrow makes the bargaining of the price uncertain because of the quality and quantity of the hare as well as the propensity of having this animal caught.

I wonder how this government would've incubate ideas that may eventually lead to hatching success in the absent of critical minds! How would the government know that they're lagging distant behind her contemporaries and equally be reminded that she has spent the scarce time resting on her oasis?
Who cares? The choirmasters doesn't care either. Everyone owes them absolute highest praise. One Chief-Spokesman Agogo few days ago opined that any aides of this government who doesn't sing for the government must be an enemy of the government. He further chides them to blow their vuvuzelas to repress the perceived enemies of Governor Ben Ayade. He even threatened to skin the author of this piece for daring to direct his searchlight at him. They've retained and engaged the services of the state coercive apparatus and hoodlums to gag whoever that is singing different song.

No qualms. Let me sing Mr. Choirmaster. Alright. Good people of Cross River State, spare me the chance to add my voice to the voices of other 'compatriots' to sing high praise to our digital governor, Prof., Barr., Sen., Chief Benedict Ayade, (the man de ma see de ma bow); the man who discovered the road to 'abanacuta'; the governor of governors; the only governor who's raking success ambidextrously and has achieved alot in just few months more than what all his predecessors had in their tenures. These achievements could only come through your hands. Your Excellency, you're the best. Every citizen of this state and visitors owes you ton of appreciations.

You must be really unfair to the governor if you're saying that he hasn't done anything worthwhile. He has done this. What? You must be suffering from astigmatism if you haven't seen the projects. Has has done that. What? You must be suffering from auditory hallucinations not to have heard even if you can't see. I don't have problem with my eyes not even my ears. It's confusing to be hearing every second how either Chinish, Indian or Lebanese investors coming to set up establishments in Calabar and yet nothing has been done. This thing continued from where it stopped yesterday and begins another day. Please Mr. Man, oya, tell me wetin him don do. Alright, we hear civil servants are smiling to the bank for January salary. With these points of mine, I do hope you're indeed very convinced that the governor is working? Shegeh!

Once again my people, the opportunity is afforded us as people of this great State to make our positions known. I would like, therefore to have you join us in order to pay accolades to Ayade. I urge you to do it here. Please don't twist this post out of shape; because I stand by every word joined together to form a sentence.

Sycophants are the real scum in the wheel of the state's vehicle. Excuse me please!
