On the 27th of February 2015, Governor Ben Ayade has this to say about Dame Patience Jonathan, Former President Goodluck Jonathan, and former presidential candidate of the APC, Muhammadu Buhari. He said it and was applauded for it by Liyel Imoke.

Excerpts:
My own Mama P, the mother of all, the great woman with great compassion. The woman that loves everybody that's downtrodden. My own Mama in Abuja, the one that I run too. The mother that caters for everybody.

For those of us who know her closely, we know she is truly a patient woman. She's truly a loving woman, a woman that care. I doff my hat for you. I love your family. I love whatever you represent.

I welcome you to Ikom and indeed Cross River State. My people, do you want grammar or pidgin? Ok! Let's start!! Can you hear me now? The organolinthic portability of any surface, lies not in the mastigation, but in the nutritional content.

When a man compromises his conscience, when you allow your conscience to be conquered by greed, by religion or ethnicity, you cannot see. That is the only reason that a man at 72, who has no education, no culture, no finesse, is made to run an election against a doctoral candidate. A man without exposure.

That is the only reason why you will embrace a Buhari against a Doctor Jonathan. On God's planet and the apes, what is the basis of this kind of election if not for ethnicity? What is the basis for this kind of election? You have only two choices to make and the first is a doctoral and the other, a deputy governor, a governor, a vice president. A man with all other political experience in place. A man without tribalistic capacity. And you are comparing such a man with a man without education, a man without pedigree. A man who has committed a heinous crime in this country by staging a coup against this country. That's the man you are comparing him against. A man who has already turned 72 and his tired, he's reduced in body and in spirit. A man who lacks capacity and exposure. That's the man you are comparing.

If it is not ethnicity, if it is not religion, do you think we have election at all? We don't have an election. The gospel truth is that when you turned 65 and you are seeking a public office, you are simply a dinosaur.

So, we have two choices to make between Goodluck Jonathan and nothing. Because the other option does not exist at all. That's a complete dinosaur. You have only two options, either you choose nothing and we go back home or we choose Dr Goodluck Jonathan. That is the future. That is what we like.

The people of Cross River State will never forgive and forget all the bad things Buhari has done in this country. We all know.

But look at Goodluck Jonathan, when Obasanjo came in and took our Bakassi and our oil wells, he came in and provided a subvension to support Cross River State. Today, Dr Goodluck Jonathan has told us that he is going to put a fast rail, a fast train between Calabar and Obudu Cattle Ranch.
When Buhari came here, what did he promise? Nothing! What has he done? Nothing! What is his intellectual capacity? Nothing! What is his energy? Zero!! He is absolutely a no candidate. Thank you all!
