The attention of the Deputy Governor of Cross River State has been drawn to the existence of multiple Facebook accounts purportedly belonging to him, Prof. Ivara E. Esu, OFR.
The operators of these accounts are internet fraudsters with intension of exploiting the personae and office of the Deputy Governor of Cross River State to defraud unsuspecting members of the public.
While we explore all options to arrest the menace, I wish to advise members of the public to disregard any such Facebook account other than Ivara Ejemot Esu which is the genuine username of the Deputy Governor on Facebook and also advice not to have any dealings with these fake accounts with the exception of the one above.
