"My cousin, Asta Diakite, was among the victims of one of the shootings, along with hundreds of other innocent French people. She was like a big sister to me.

"In this climate of terror, it is important for all of us who represent our country and its diversity to stay united against a horror which has no colour, no religion. Stand together for love, respect and peace.

"Thank you all for your messages, take care of yourselves and your loved ones, and may the victims rest in peace."

Those were the words of ex Chelsea star and France International Lassana Diarra who currently plays for Marseille, he was representing France in a  friendly against Germany in Stade de France when the attack took place outside the stadium, which reported three suicide bombers dead. France went on to emerge winners defeating World Cup holders Germany 2-0.

The attack which took place last Friday, in three separate locations in the French capital Paris, features unceremonious shootings and bombings which claimed lives, reported figure was 129, and 352 injured.

Although France has declared a three day of National mourning, it won't affect their fixtures against the Three Lions of England, as they travel to Wembley for International friendly on Tuesday.
