The member representing Ogoja State Constituency, Hon Peter Odey, yesterday during events marking the World Youth Day, pledged his support for the youth of C' River State and also promised to promote policies and programmes that will bring about speedy growth to the youth of the State.
He said as a youth he will do his best in making sure that young Cross Riverians are not left behind but carried along in policies and programmes as it affects them.
Hon Odey praised the dexterity of Cross River Youth, saying Cross River is indebted to its youth and should therefore honour them.
He reaffirmed his commitment to the youth of his Constituency, stating that he will provide buses on resumption and closure of tertiary institutions in the State to ease the sufferings of students during each academic year.
Hon Peter Odey said the Cross River Youth should continue to keep faith in Cross River, saying all hands must be on deck, and everyone must collaborate together to make Cross River great again.
He further stated that there is no greater pursuit worth his time as a lawmaker in the present than advancing the collective interest of Cross River State.
Hon Odey commended the State Governor, Senator Prof. Ben Ayade for attracting the Bank of Industry to the State, saying it will boost the speedy growth of SMEs amongst young Cross Riverians.
