In a laughable, yet dramatic twist, the case Ayade vs Joe Agi has drawn out yet another media hype. This time, it is not the victory of Ayade over Agi in court.
The media team of Ayade has started a media campaign bent at discrediting Joe Agi reputation before the hearing at the Supreme Court begins.
It should be remembered that Agi has dragged Ayade to court on forgery not perjury. It is the court that has to establish that. Events at the Federal High Court saw the case ruled in favor of Ayade.
Agi is now in the Appeal Court. The court is set to call for initial hearings on the matter soon. Therefore, the media activity in Ayade camp is to try to abuse the minds of the judges at the Appeal Court, and cast aspersions on the established forgery allegations on the mind of the judges.
Agi is not to be investigated of any forgery. Rather it was the pronouncement in the Federal High Court that the matter and forgery allegations on Ayade ought to have been investigated by the police from the initial stage. The judge directed that if it pleases Joe Agi (SAN), he should write to the Inspector General of the Federation to investigate the matter.
It is laughable that they should turn facts around to please and deceive supposed supporters of Ayade and themselves.
If anyone has to be investigated as directed by the judge, it should be the opposite. Not as being speculated by the Ayade camp. It's so sad the way the Ayade media has gone desperate to prove what is not true.
However, I implore all Agi teeming supporters to be patient. The truth shall emerge at the end.
I advise the Ayade media team to stop thinking they could influence the hearings of the Supreme Court. If you have achieved a fair verdict in the Federal High Court, the Supreme Court might play out otherwise.
Perhaps you know that the Supreme Court is not going to be like High Court. That's why you are trying to assassinate the integrity of SAN Joe Agi. Please be reminded that Joe Agi's integrity is not in doubt. Be reminded too that the birth certificates forgery of Ayade was duly accepted by Ayade as an error and therefore remain unquestionable, and was accepted by the Federal High Court, hence the call for its investigation.
