A foremost member of the CRSHA has congratulated the newly appointed State Security Adviser, Mr. Jude Ngaji. Below is the congratulatory texts sent in by Hon. Peter Odey's Special Adviser, namely, Prince Thomas Abi Jr.
Hon Peter Odey Congratulates Mr. Jude Ngaji on his Appointment as State Security Adviser
The Member representing Ogoja State Constituency, Hon Peter Odey has congratulated Mr. Jude Ngaji on his appointment as the State Security Adviser.
Hon Odey, has described the appointment of Mr. Jude Ngaji as timely and well deserved.
He further said the had no doubt that Mr. Ngaji would perform assiduously well. Saying when he was deputy Chief of staff his rare sterling leadership qualities saw him becoming the Chief of Staff to former Governor Liyel Imoke. Which he described as evident of his total loyalty and hard work towards putting the records straight and promoting the State.
Hon Odey also urged Mr. Jude Ngaji to use his new position as State Security Adviser to the greater good of the People of the State. Which he said the high rate of criminal activities is endangering the lives and property of the People of the State, which is of great concern and needs speedy attention.
He further said the State Security Adviser should as a matter of urgency look into the cases of high level of kidnapping, rape, arm robberies, snatching of belongings by hoodlums, stabbing, cultism and pilfering in the State.
He urged the State Security Adviser to work together with the relevant agencies of government in protecting the Cross River water ways, by deploying marine police in the inland water ways of riverine areas in the State.
Hon Odey, also urged him to use his office in arresting the menace of Skolombo and other social vices.
He also expressed great delight with the State Governor, Senator Prof. Ben Ayade for Finding Mr. Ngaji of handling such a sensitive position as State Security Adviser.
