Yesterday 10 July 2015, the member representing Cross River Ogoja constituency in the House of Assembly, Hon. Odey, felicitated with the Chairman of Operation Skolombo, Gen. Nyiam. Below, is the congratulatory message as sent in by his media aide.
HON. PETER ODEY CONGRATULATE GEN. MANNIX NYIAM ON HIS APPOINTMENT AS CHAIRMAN TASK FORCE ON OPERATION SKOLOMBO
The member representing Ogoja State Constituency, Hon Peter Odey has congratulated the newly inaugurated Chairman of the Task Force Board on Operation Skolombo.
Hon Odey, expressed delight over the appointment of Gen Mannix Nyiam as Chairman of the Board. Saying that the retired army General is a seasoned administrator and an experienced army officer of many repute who can bring to a stand still the many security cases rocking the State in recent time.
He further expressed optimism that the problem of kidnapping, arm robberies, stabbing, pilfering and harassing of members of the public would be flushed out in no distant time.
Hon Odey, also urged the new Chairman to pay special attention to the inland water ways which has become porous and unsafe for the People of the State.
He further called on the Gen. Nyiam led task force not to only pay attention to Calabar but every part of the State should be given due security and calmness.
