Microsoft has confirmed the rumours. A new Xbox One model, featuring a
larger internal hard drive and a redesigned controller with a standard
3.5 mm headphone jack, will be releasing early next week.
The new console, sporting a matte finish, will be available on June 16
for $400 in the US and will also include a bundled copy of Halo: The
Master Chief Collection. The entry-level 500GB system will stay at its
current price of $349, making the price drop permanent after first
introducing it as a holiday promotion.
