Tottenham striker Harry Kane was interviewd by UEFA.com after England lost their opening match to Group B rivals Portugal in the ongoing U21s European Championship. And this was his responds when asked if anything has changed due to the fact there have been lots of positive talks about England before the tournament. He responded by saying: Nothing has changed. There are two winnable games coming up and we have more than enough ability to win those games. We're staying positive and we know what we have to do.
Kane who represented England U19s in Estonia in 2012 when they were knocked out of the tournament by Greece, has since made exceptional progress as he bagged 21 Premier League goals last season for Tottheham Hotspur and have been attracting interest from top clubs in Europe, notably Manchester United who had let Falcao return back to Monaco due to his underperformance with the Red Devils. With the aging Robin Van Persie been plague with injuries, Luis Van Gal is looking to lure the promising lad to Old Trafford but he has expressed his desire to continue to flourish at White Hart Lane.
He also added concerning the tournament saying: We said going into the tournament that we'd probably have to win two games to get out of the group and that's still the case. Our minds are focused on Sweden on Sunday now. It will be a tough game. They've shown they're a great side but we're looking forward to it. We remain upbeat and will stick to our game plan and try to win on Sunday.
