Liverpool Captain Steven Gerrard announced earlier in January of his exit to MLS side LA Galaxy to have a new side of life to football. But lately has expressed a mixed emotions concerning his exit.
34 year old Steven Gerrard who will turn 35 in May will definitely at these last stages of his career with Liverpool be playing his heart out as Liverpool are in 5th position trailing Manchester United by four points and with three games left to play including the trip to Stamford-Bridge this Sunday. The match against Chelsea could be so crucial for him as he will have to remind himself of how his long awaited Premier League eluded him last year when Liverpool were on the drivers seat and their destiny in their own hands. It was his own agonising slip against Chelsea last season that saw Dembaba took advantage of his slip and netted the goal that bruised his chances of putting an end to long awaited 26 year of association with the Reds of lifting the Premier League shattered.
Steven Gerrard now pays probably his last visit as a player to Stamford Bridge, the club which he made an 11th hour decision of not joining when he handed over a transfer request in 2005 instead opting to stay at Anfield for another decade.
Could Steven G suddenly change his mind as we have seen him turning his back against Chelsea if Liverpool eventually qualify for the Champions League after admitting his mixed emotions concerning his exit?
